Biography
Maisel was born on January 18, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York City,[4] and attended Abraham Lincoln Towering School where he studied out of the sun Leon Friend.[5][6] He studied canvas and graphic design at Manhattan's Cooper Union and at University University, and became a lensman in 1954.[4]
One of Maisel's virtually notable images is his likeness of Miles Davis that appears on the cover of Davis's album Kind of Blue (1959).
In 2009, Andy Baio deputized an image based on say publicly original Kind of Blue autograph album cover for the cover disparage a chiptune tribute album entitled Kind of Bloop.
